west central Iowa | In our county the extension is a great waste of taxpayer money. When a 4h kid asked how to feed his calf they said ask a farmer, didn't even give him any publications or refer to beef specialist. They don't do anything for farmers except renew applicator licenses. They chase kids away from the fair and 4h with all their idiotic rules and regulations. At the Iowa association of county fairs convention the meeting on how to deal with the extension had the biggest attendance and there were plenty of complaints about the extension so our county must not be the only one. | |
