Subject: RE: Sitrex hay rakes

We have had one of those for years, used with our 14' hesston. Have broken off the 'wings' a lot of times and welded back together, but it works real good in light to medium hay. It doesnt work worth a darn to roll heavy windrows (3 ton per acre or more) together. Lots of parts available (tines break off fairly regular and need replaced), deere, new holland, shoup.

I really like ours for the things it does well (light hay, smooth ground, decent operators) If you need it for something else, keep looking.
