Northeastern Pa. | Steve is right. We had a local farmer in big trouble for shooting the back window out of a car that was stealing gas from him continually. His case was in court for a long time and finally they dropped it but it was a close one. I never heard what happened to the thieves. Yet another guy beat a guy to death with a tire iron for fooling with his wife and got jail time with work release. Basically a slap on the hand. The law and lawyers are tough to figure out. I've never owned a pistol and won't-too handy to make a life changing decision. Trespass issues are hardly enforceable by our State Police and court system. I had kids destroy some corn with vehicles and a beer bash in the field. They basically got nothing for doing it. I was supposed to get payments per month from the kids. I got 1 payment for 1 month from one kids parents and that was it. I let it go. So be careful . | |
