SC Mo Ar line | My big gripe is the immigrant labor whether illegal or a visa program is it is putting the hardest working self employed americans who milk their own cows out of business, It is not that Americans won't do the work. There are plenty doing it every day. If the unending supply of labor to the big operations ended. mabey junior would have a chance to stay on the farm,
If technology and automation will allow the big operations to continue to put out the little guy then let them have at it, Why aren't they using it now? Because immigrant labor is cheaper, Would the price of that automation allow the small guy to be more competitive? Time may tell,
As for social security. if previous presidents hadn't raided it to claim they balanced the budget mabey we wouldn't need immigrants paying into it,
Illegal labor stays here in this country and contributes at least a little something to local economies if they don't use more in services than they spend. How much do visa workers spend in the local economy or how much of their paycheck gets sent out of the country? Is this really good for the country as a whole?
As for Walmart, where is the labor coming from to support these big new dairys coming from, or are they completely automated?
And a question about USDA, How much of their budget is spent paying for food purchased by their dependents at Walmart? Not saying there is anything going on, BUT?
