South Texas | Nothing to it. On the elevation only the difference between start and finish matter, unless its something extreme. You need to put in a valve to bleed the air at any high spots. 2.3 ft elevation difference equals 1 psi. How many gpm you need and how much pressure you have available? And how much pressure you need at the other end? Water runs all day, it really doesn’t take much continuous flow if you just want to water some cattle and have a big enough trough for when they all show up at once. For the water trough you need about no pressure at the end, but for a house you will want 40+ psi at the end so it makes a big difference. | |
