Tell us more about the healthcare system you have access to. How long do you have to wait to get an MRI, see a specialist, to get in for surgery, how far do you have to travel for other than basic services, etc.
MRI and seeing a specialist is mostly within a week, Surgery really depends on doctor and hospital you choose, could be as fast as a couple days or take a couple weeks or a month if you need a more specialized surgery.
Clinic we normally go to for check ups and smaller issues is 15 miles away. Another mile or two are several (2-3)larger and some smaller hospitals in town where a lot can be done.
If they can’t help you it’s a 70-80 mile trip to see more specialized doctors. |
