We got about 85% of the corn acres planted before the big rains started; most of those are going to be okay, but some have been replanted the last 7-10 days, and a few late acres (late for us) are going in now. Some of the 15% will get planted, some will go to cotton or soybeans. Cotton planting is getting started, and will be full speed in about ten days. Vegetables are further behind. Fresh transplants before the rains are struggling. There have been erosion issues with and without plastic. Transplants are getting a little big, but are going right on it. Agriculture sure never gets boring....
