NEIN
Having personally landed a Cirrus plane at Mid way I can tell you there is traffic everywhere. Airspace is controlled by several radar controllers who each have a piece of the compass pie. You are also handled at first by approach and then by tower and then by ground. Several changes of the radio frequencies. High stress and with on board traffic display is very demanding of your attention. Excellent experience for a GA pilot like me. When we took off I sat at the runway end in line with several planes and waited over 30 minutes to fit in between big jets, of course being warned to watch for wake turbulence on both landing and departing. O hare is bigger and even more crowded.
