| You want a heeler, she wants 2 jr's. Ok,.........she gets her 2 jr's "IF" you get your heeler. That'll make 3 dogs happier'n a tornaduh in'a trailer park. ...............ok, a cattle dog and 2 terriers,.......maybe tornado is not a very good word, but.....
Look at it this way, you train 2 dogs for the price of one, and usually a like species companion makes the dog a little more comfortable emotionally.
IMO a child will grow up without a dog just as well as with a dog. IMO, it is not so much the dog as it is the environment you parents want the child to grow up in. | |
