Subject: We have two Jacks

Mohawk Indiana
We got our first jack about 8 years ago, He was pcsyco turned mean at a young age, growled at the kids, bit a neighbor kid and knipped a few others. When he got run over by the Schwan lady about three years ago she was the only one that shed a tear.

After several months for some reason we decided to get two jrt pups. They were the most wonderful good natured dogs we had ever owned. at about ten months the male got into it with a coyote, scared him shi##less. but he recovered. While we were putting up the Christmas tree about a month later we went to town to eat supper and were gone less than an hour. When we got home the female was hiding by the garage and we found him in the edge of the field clinging to life. They got him again, punctured his windpipe this time and he died about eighteen hours later.

Littermate was heartbroken and lonely along with the rest of us, after a few months we contacted the folks that we got them from and they told us when they got another litter they would let us know. Around the first of August last summer we went and got another male.

Eight months later they are best buds and a very big part of our family. I think that our kids are better off because they have had all of these experiences.

Good Luck

BTW Local trapper caught 6 coyotes this past fall/winter within 1/2 mile of our house
