Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | If the two aforementioned dogs are littermates, my experience has been unless you have much more time and patience than anyone living on this particular farm has, stay away from it.
We had littermates for about 14 years...........got rid of the rest of the litter and were stuck with these 2. One was very dominate, the other very passive. In fact, the dominant one at sometimes appeared to be "gender challenged". She was born a female.....................well, I'll leave it at that.
Anyway, we've always believed that both dogs would have been great family/farm dogs if raised separately, but raised and kept together from birth to old dog-age they were a consistant pain in the neck.
General consensus around here was that they shared a brain.
