It depends; are you interested in going out at night? If so, I'd recommend staying downtown somewhere. Then you can walk to 4th Street Live. I've stayed here twice as I ususally have some meetings before the show that take place at the Seelbach: http://www.seelbachhilton.com/
From the Seelbach, you can be to the NFMS in about 15 minutes.
