Eastern Iowa | I have the same baler but mine is a 2016 premium 565 does the same thing not wrapping net on bale edge and sometimes net not starting.
The problem seamed more so when the net was to the end of the roll and some of the brands that are thin and light weight tear easier. Also help to clean any loose hay away from duke bill area and blocking the net from starting on the bale.
The net cycle on the newer balers is fast so I found it helps to start slowing down your ground speed before the full bale alarm goes off especially in heavy hay and larger windrows.
Baler makes a nice bale when working right. It's a big heavy pig to pull if you have hills ! Not as bad on level ground. | |
