Greed and ego can be attributed to many problems facing ag. The farmer himself will always bid the margin away leaving no cushion in a downturn . Always has been , always will be unless you can change men's hearts.
JC, I'm going to disagree with you on this one. You are right, it's probably the way it's going to always be. But it's not the way it's always been. Only in the last few decades, have farmers decided to accept working for little or nothing.
