Tech-freak - 7/12/2018 21:27 Disagree. People that stopped planting beans because they were tired of 45-55 bu acre have now realized they can grow 70+ with newer genetics in the corn states. Ill take $8 beans at 70bu/acre any day over 250bu corn at $3


Wish our typical yields were anywhere close to that, but....  There's something to be said for cutting a whole bunch of beans in a day with a 400 horsepower combine and a draper head, and turning those beans into a check in the mailbox with far less effort than handling the same acreage of corn.
