| I saw this a few weeks ago from going to some web site. I couldn't close the window, so I did a Ctrl-Alt-Del and killed the process in the task manager. It looked rather official when it first popped up, but I couldn't believe my anti-virus didn't catch it. I went back to the same site, and it popped up again, so I just killed it again.
I believe if you clicked through it, you would likely get some sales pitch for their security software. What a scam. | |
