Subject: RE: Mini Split Ductless Heat Pumps again

Franklinton, LA
I recently completed converting a 20 X 32' screened back porch to an all season room. With 12 windows and 2 doors I felt a 1 ton ductless unit would be too small for 640 square feet. I had two friends install a 2 ton Lennox heat pump with 2 indoor wall mounted units. This Lennox ductless system has an SEER of 25 which really beats a window unit. Last Saturday we had a family reunion with 27 people and it worked great. The installers ran 2 well insulated copper refrigerant lines from the outdoor compressor to each indoor unit. They cut the lines to length and installed fittings. They also ran a power cable and control cable from the compressor to each indoor unit. The two remote controls are nice for setting temperature and other functions.
