SC WI | I am not sure when you go, but all the big outdoor water parks are done Labor Day weekend regardless of weather. If mount Olympus is your thing make sure you stay close to the park itself, otherwise they get ya on a large parking fee.
Almost all those big resorts are setup to fully accommodate a vacation. Kalahari and wilderness are probably the better of the ones, and they have rooms from basic hotel all the way up to whole decked out houses.
There is the downtown area, but that’s mostly bars and T-shirt shops.
I don’t live far away and I avoid it as much as possible, with that being said, my college job was driving the ducks giving tours. But nowadays I do have to drive equipment through there cause I got fields on both sides of the river in that area and there are few places to cross. | |
