Bourbon,Indiana | All property owners within a watershed are assessed an amount based on acerage to pay for the upkeep of draining the watershed, i.e. cleaning ditches, cutting and treating trees on ditch banks, spraying ditch banks to keep brush at bay, fixing or replacing tile mains which are under watershed purview, replacing road culverts, etc etc.
Our assessments here in Indiana are included in our property tax statements. | |
