| Talking to my son who just bought a new to them house probably built in 60's or early 70's. Nearly all the houses are either a split foyer or a tri-level. Theirs is a tri-level with the drive under garage. Garage is under the 2 bedrooms for the kids and they are pretty darn cold.
Needless to say ceiling is dry walled and what is up there who knows.
Was looking at the froth pacs spray foam and they seemed awful high priced for the coverage. 200-210 square feet for 1" of depth. The 2" Pink Extruded styrofoam is really high also.
Was thinking flash an inch of foam spray then 2 or 4" of pink foamboard
Or is 8 or 10 inches of Roxal be better and cheaper? What has the NAT crew done with garages with bedrooms above? | |
