nc Ia. | There is a cave in the Tonto forest less than 200’ from our property line. It is called Woman’s cave because of what looks like a woman figure on the one wall, and I have been down in it twice with spelunkers. You have to use a rope ladder or have someone let you down into it with a rope as it is 30’ straight down. The main room is fairly large, about 30’x 20’ and 15’ tall, and there are smaller crawl spaces also. One of the times I was in it was with a church group of about 20 kids and the spelunkers who made it possible. You can see the pipe cover in the picture that you have to get a key from the forest service to open.
