In most cases I do not believe the difference of a rain this week or 7 days later is going to knock off 40 bushel per acre.
You obviously haven't farmed in Missouri!
A week ago our corn was in the 'could make 80 or 180' depending on rain. Today we are in the '50 or 150' category. By weeks end it may be the '20 or 120' category.
