Here's the thing about the USDA and their yield projections. They can say a yield number in July, say the same yield number in December, and then tell you how right they were. But how will you or I ever know? It's easy to be correct when you want to be when you control the information.

I'm not saying they're right or wrong or whatever, last year or this year. Just saying it looks pretty easy to manipulate the numbers without being held accountable
