Yeah, except that video doesn't say what you want it to say.  China pegged the Yaun to the dollar.  This doesn't have anything to do with the value of the dollar Per Se.  The U.S. has had a strong dollar policy for a while now.  We're now on a weak dollar policy because that is the easiest way to prop up trade numbers, but that avenue has risks, as well.
