Elizabethtown,KY | When my wife and I got married I had a '70 Pontiac GT-37 with a 350 and 4 speed, it was a year old at the time, we kept it for 16 years and she put almost all the miles on it. We sold it with 197,000 miles on it, it had 2 timing chains, 2 water pumps, an alternator, a valve job and the clutch was adjusted ONCE!
She could already drive a stick before we married as her dad had a Corvair with a 4 speed at one time. All I had to teach her was to take it out of gear and take her foot off the clutch if she had to sit long at a light, she is an excellent driver. | |
