I was also in the DMV today. Had to get my license renewed. All I can say is that if a business that depended on sales to the public was run like the Mississippi Department of Public Safety they would be broke within a week. Because our local office can't/won't issue CDL I have to drive to Greenville (about 55 miles) and spend two hours waiting my turn (only one person out of the three windows available deals with CDLs) to do something that took a total of 10 minutes. And if everything is not perfectly in order you have to leave and come back another time (don't ask me how I know). While I was there several people poked their head in the door, saw the number of people waiting, and decided to come back another time. I didn't have much choice. My license expired last Saturday. Oops! :-)
