Complicated program. I remember some deal where we would bid the number of bushels we would turn over, like 80% and could sell the rest.
The certificate deal was also odd, some folks used their certificates in high basis areas and took delivery in low basis areas. There was a lot of scamming going on if the coffee shop talk was correct.
Can anybody tell me about the PIK program in the 1980's?
