Central iowa | They don’t pay much $1500 a year for each one I think...also they are always broke down..did you know their life expectancy is 25years and they take 30years to pay for themselves that’s coming from the company that built them around here....also no aerial application and about a acre around each one dosnt yield much oh as for living off the grid the power the ones generate around here goes to Chicago and the power plant 10miles from the wind turbines still burns the same amount of fuel it did before the wind turbines were put up and now even when the turbines are gone where stuck with the concrete bases forever they will come in knock the first 15ft and leave the rest...you can also never enjoy a nice peaceful night around them you can hear them up a mile away sometimes but you do get use to them and learn to ignore them
