Those red snapper are good eating. I'm not sure about makerel.
The Atlantic Red Snapper fishery is closed. We were not allowed to keep any of them. You are allowed to keep them from the Gulf of Mexico, those fish do not get as big though.
The King Makerel were good, but they are not as good as Red Snapper.
