Most of the last 5 years by now the corn market has already taken out a lot of the weather premium and we are left grasping at straws as to why the trade and the USDA is wrong. Is this year any different? Do we continue to decline into harvest? My gut says our best opportunity has passed until next spring.

Not much pointing to up market right now. Our corn in SW IA looks good and we’ve got moisture to last awhile. That said if you believe the northern belt guys (and I do) the fact there under water could bring down the averages especially in Iowa pretty quick. But it will take awhile for that to play out.
