You're missing something really important. IIRC, Trump's approval is indeed only modestly less than Obama's, Clinton's, and Bush's at this point in their terms. The difference is that economic and other conditions were far worse for those other Presidents. Trump's rating is lower despite better conditions. Trump should be polling 15 or more points higher. Imagine where Trump's rating will be when the iconic cycle turns. |
