I don't think it will happen that fast. There are enough contracted bushels for the fall delivery period to keep the pipeline full.
With that being said, a little dry weather in S.A. in February and then I can see some major gains in what will then be old crop. I have a feeling once 2018 beans go in the tin cans, it will take $10 plus cash to get them out. Most farmers with tin cans use them as gambling bushels so it will take an attractive/profitable number to get them.
