| Their definition of a farm is 5 acres with a cow on it,strawberry patch
Back in the slump of the late 90's one magazine had a questionnaire meant for the advertisers . It had the number of viable farms that could buy their product. Illinois,Iowa,Kansas each had around 8000. Nebraska,Indiana,Ohio,Minnesota had 4 to 6000 and it went downhill from there.. Second rate tech retailer went broke back then and had 35000 employees . I remember thinking circuit city or whoever had about as many people as half the ag economy in the country | |
