Subject: Re: MX210 Idle problems

SE IL Mt.Erie, IL
A common problem with them is the fuel shutoff selnoid, so check and make sure that it is moving freely and bottoms out the travel on the pump arm. There is a fine line between it being adjusted properly and not working. There is a spring loaded tensioner that needs to have some pressure on it also on the adjuser rod. It could be wore out causing you trouble also. Once on a 7220 I took the rubber boot off of the selnoid, took the plunger out, shined up plunger and bore, lubed it then put it back together. make sure to get the boot back on right. This can cause it to not idle properly and/or not kill the engine properly.

Hope this helps...
