I've worn glasses since 8th grade, I had to get bifocals when I was 44, my arms got too short to read a menu or newspaper, magazine, etc.
I've always had the lined bifocals, wifey has always had the progressive lenses, but I just don't think I could get used to them.
I've considered trifocals, but have never tried them.
