| The Japan buying spree was more the result of a boom bust cycle from the currency exchange. A major drop in the currency exchange spurred a buying spree that only lasted a matter of years not decades. China's buying while keeping their currency suppressed. Its not a short term buying spree but rather a longer term strategic plan. I will agree I don't feel their plan is to buy up everything in amercia, but they target the technology and data that our country has thrived on. | |
