Subject: RE: Bifocal advice

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
I've never had the "true bifocals" but have had progressive lenses without the lines. It's takes a little getting used to but I get along fine with them. I started wearing them when I was around 50. I have found with different styles of glasses that lenses that don't have much depth to them are a little harder to use. I hope I'm explaining this right....smaller lenses that measure say an inch from top to bottom are a little harder to get used to than lenses that would measure an inch and a half. Maybe something to consider for your first pair.
