Nw Iowa | +1, excellent posts guys, I too am learning my plans aren't always gods plans. I too as I get older want a simpler life. I like to look at the world thru my 2 yr old grandsons eyes and see what he sees. Beauty, excitement, discovery, all pretty cool stuff thatgod put in this world with no price tag. A lot more to life than what you drive or how much you farm. Also learning as you guys have said that Gods plan may not be my plan but it is the plan for your life. Much easier to work with God than against him.
As I get older I also seek out people who are true christians, not the front row in church feel gooders who look down their nose at somebody that doesn't meet their standards but true believers who live their life for Christ. Pick some good friends like that and you really have a friend. It is nice to call someone to talk about a problem that will give you bible based advice and that you can trust. | |
