I only rent from 2 landlords, but each Christmas I have a meat and cheese variety basket made for both. They always insist that it isn't necessary, but I only spend maybe 30-40 bucks a piece on each. My rebuttal is that it isn't necessary for them to rent land to me either, but let them know how much I appreciate it. It also gives me an excuse to stop and see them and just chit chat.
