We are in a wet area, too wet. I don't think there is any way we can match last years yields "here". Too much drown out, too much lost N. I understand that much of the country is not in this boat and I understand that it sucks equally to be too dry.
With a lot of help from my parents, I rented a small farm in 1973. This year marks crop number 45. I still make dumb mistakes and still ask stupid questions and I never cease to be amazed at how the weather can do things to us that I have never seen before. | |
