SENE | Jim: Yes had that done , First knee done in the Spring of 2002 and the second in the Fall . First one broke loose from the bone (lower) in 2011. They went and replaced it with long stems for a price of $75,000 . Still have some problems with Arthritis . I requested the old parts and the Dr. said OK. Nothing was said and when I left the Hospital a call came ,to wait. A nurse came from Operations and handed me the old Knee parts. I walked on them for 9 years . I will enclose pictures. The second picture shows the bottom stem ( to me it should be longer) I was in Omaha Hospital for 5 days and then to local Hospital in swing bed for a week. They are replacing knees in local hospital now and don't know what they are doing . Let me know how you come out. Glen
