sw ontario | Ontario Canuck really nailed it with "the good get bigger and the less efficient get out" ...... nobody likes it but it happens in family retail stores , gas stations , mom & pop motels , hogs, crops, trucking , construction , Ag, business/co-ops.....really can't think of any business that isn't affected......Many can hang on and survive for quite a while as they have maybe no debt, lots of equity and will reduce spending ,but that only works until the money is gone and people are wore out physically and mentally I have great respect for Dairyman 78 when there family decided too change course rather than "give there equity to processors"..... family dairy farmers without a doubt have worked the hardest and got thanked the least....... | |
