Central Minnesota | I don't drink but I remember the professor in Ag Economics talking about how Busch bought amusement parks in an attempt to diversify. The rationale was when the economy is good people go to amusement parks, when the economy is bad they drink cheap beer. I'm sure if you increase the tax enough people would stop drinking beer just like cigarettes ($9/pack in MN!), but then would more people start doing meth/marijuana because it's cheaper? No offense to beer drinkers. | |
