Missouri river bottom south of Sioux City, IA
For some this June brings back memories of June of 2014. I believe your north of hwy 20 but any bottom ground in the southwest part of your county south of 20 took a hit in 2014. I’m just south of the pink area (20 to 25 inches). From April through Oct I ended up with about 43 inches and in the pink area they ended up with 60+. There were thousands of acres in that area that were not harvested. I had corn yield 73 to 127 bpa and the soybeans that survived yielding in the teens. We have had 6 inches in June this year and corn looks great, soybeans are suffering and hope we get some heat to bring them out of that.
