SW Ontario | Maybe not so much the drugs but rather the mindset it puts people in. Prescribing drugs puts people in the mindset that their problems are solved and that no lifestyle changes are required. I think some of the most powerful treatments for depression are not found at a pharmacy but rather in the life decisions we make and the way we choose to live our life. I'm not saying mental issues can be completely cured by making lifestyle changes but when it comes to treatment and prevention, I think the focus should be 90:10 lifestyle:drugs. | |
