10 inched snow April 20. 2” rain since. Much of that came in .04-.08” spits. Winter wheat on light ground has 3-4 kernels per head. Spring and winter wheat headed out at knee high or less. Row crops look ok but will run out of gas fast. NE of Huron, SD
Ditto up towards Aberdeen area. 3-3.5" since April 1, minus the snow, 2" of the rain this month (after the two 80+ mph wind events of course). Should have 8" roughly since April 1 on average. We were way behind coming into the spring to begin with. |
