Central IA | I think the tariff is factored in already, trading grain(or stocks) your trying to get future profits, or growth. Traders look ahead, bad news, don’t want to miss. Look at how hard the market moved on threats from US, China, Canada, EU(both positive n negative). Good weather, good crop ratings, crop in earlier than many thought possible, no news(or bad news) on trade. All made the markets move big time.
Yes we could loose some more with tariff talk, things always seem to swing to far. But weather and fundamentals will com back. May have a high in this year, maybe not.
On crop condition, best looking I’ve seen in a while. BUT! I would much rather have a stressed crop in June than in late July or August. And up north of me, way to much rain now. But we will see. | |
