My oldest graduated HS this spring and he, too, is some of my best help. He is going to a school an hour away for Diesel Tech, but they require him to work in his field while in school and in the summer. I'll still have him some, but not nearly as much. Plus, I'm going to miss the heck out of him personally.


I suppose it could be worse...he could be aimless and planning to live in my basement for the next few years. When you make a man out of a boy, you have to expect this.

I know what you mean. My wife and I will have some small complaint about one of the kids, and then we look at each other, and say "well, none are on drugs"
