Your quote in Hebrews is from an author that most think was Paul, but many people think was someone else. My quote of "I desire mercy not sacrifice" was from Jesus Christ himself. So basically you are saying that in this particular instance we should believe the unknown author over Jesus. I guess that makes sense in some religion. Also, a lot of Hebrews I merely describing some of the stuff in the old testament where they still believed in sacrifice. I will make the rest of my post to someone else.
