| We have a 9660 sts. After a windy harvest day we found that the shield that covers the chopper drive belt was full of straw and chaff. Neighbours have a 9760 sts. They had a bearing sieze on the top shaft of the chopper drive. It was red hot when they found it. If they had have had the chaff and straw build up that we had or if we had have had the siezed bearing that they had there would have been one less combine in the world. A combination of the two would result in pictures like these. | |
